A group of my friends from work got us a voucher for a holiday just before I had Milo. What a lovely and thoughtful gift that was! We saved it up until Milo was sleeping better through the night. Wow, going away with a baby really requires more stuff! Especially a baby who vomits a lot and needs multiple changes of clothes, bibs and face-washers! The place we stayed in was so beautiful and well equipped we needn't have worried. It had a Miele washer and dryer so I didn't even get behind with the washing! Quietly hoping my washer and dryer cark it in the next couple of years and we can upgrade...!
Unfortunately Milo wasn't so sure of his new surroundings and decided to have a party during the night, both nights.... never mind! It was freezing cold so we enjoyed the fire and the massive spa. It was so nice to get away just the three of us and relax and unwind. Milo is such a wonderful addition to our family, I cannot imagine life without him now. And ps, how cute does he look in a hoodie?
